Tappi Town is an app for young children, so we have kept it simple: the app does not collect any personal data at all. This policy explains what that means in practice for the app and for this website.
Who we are
Tappi Town is made and operated by an independent developer. You can reach us at awooche@gmail.com.
The app collects no data
Tappi Town does not ask for a name, an email address or an account. It has no adverts, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code that collects data. It does not use the camera, the microphone, the location or the contacts, and it does not connect to our servers or anyone else’s.
In Apple’s App Store privacy labels this is shown as “Data Not Collected”.
What stays on the device
To work properly the app stores a few things locally on the device: game progress and stars, favourites, the chosen language, the child’s age setting and the sound, voice and vibration switches. This information never leaves the device and is removed when the app is deleted.
Spoken instructions
The voice that reads instructions aloud is generated on the device by Apple’s built-in speech system. Nothing is recorded and nothing is sent anywhere.
Purchases and the free trial
The free trial and the unlock are in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. The app only asks Apple, on the device, whether a purchase exists and when the trial started.
Children
Tappi Town is designed for children aged 3 to 6 and follows the rules of Apple’s Kids category. Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children either. Settings, purchases and anything meant for grown-ups are behind a parental gate.
This website
tappitown.com uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no external fonts or scripts. Like most websites, our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, time, browser and the page requested) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to identify visitors and never share or sell them.
Your rights
As we hold no personal data about you or your child, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you write to us by email, we use your message only to answer it and delete it when it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If we ever want to collect any data, we will say so here first.
